Football Legend Samuel Eto’o elected President of Cameroon FA

Former Cameroun International Samuel Eto’o has been elected the Cameroun FA President. This means that he will run Cameroonian football for the next four years.

He defeated his closest rival Seidou Mbombo Njoya, who was before the election, the fourth vice-president at the Confederation of African Football.Out of Seven candidates that declared for the seat, Five of them pulled out on the morning of the elections.

In his speech after winning the election, Samuel Eto’o, who is 40 years old age, said that he will activate a wide range of reforms.

Also, he said…”We will bring footballers to the centre of our policies, it is our role to ensure that those who play this discipline make a decent living out of it.”
