Class of 1992 of the one of the oldest Secondary Schools in Nigeria and Anambra State, the legendary Okija Grammar School marked their end of the year 2021 in grandstyle.
One of renowned and illustratious Sons of Okija and a member of 1992 Class of the School Chief Emmanuel Nwenyi popularly known as EzeNwenyi, took it upon himself to hosts his classmates and their families where he treated them to an evening of food, drinks, music, gifts and fun.
Speaking at the Event, EzeNwenyi who is also the President of the Class of 1992, thanked members for honouring him with their presence. He enjoined them to remain steadfast and work for the greater good of the family. He assured them of his continued support and leadership.
Also speaking, a member of the Class Pastor Joel encouraged his classmates to network and reconnect with school mates towards taking advantage of respective successes each and everyone has recorded in his or her field of endeavour. He said that there are more to gain as a unit than as a sole ranger.
Stephen Madu popularly known as “Mojo” who was the Senior Prefect of the 1992 Class enjoined members of the class to see each other as Brothers and Sisters in view of the bond that existed amongst themselves for over 30 years. He requested members to look out for and bring in other members who are not yet part of the forum.
Guests at the occasion included Barr. Brendan Ezinwa Ukoha who incidentally is also a Senior Alumni of the School 1990 Set. Chief Ewuzie Onyeka (Msc), The Nwenyi Brothers, Stephen Ugboma who was the Senior Prefect of 1993 set of the school and Uche Ewuzie and others.
